1. Who We Are
Persocode (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website persocode.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our personality test and related services.

2.1 Information you provide
- Account data: email address, first name (optional), and authentication provider (Google or email magic link).
- Test responses: your answers to personality test questions (60 items on a 7-point scale).
- Payment data: processed entirely by our payment provider Whop.com. We never store credit card numbers or payment details on our servers.
- Marketing consent: whether you opted in to receive marketing emails, with a timestamp of your choice.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Analytics: page views, button clicks, and feature usage via PostHog. PostHog is configured to anonymize IP addresses.
- Error tracking: application errors are reported to Sentry. Error reports may include browser type and URL but never your test answers or results.
- Cookies: we use essential cookies (session, authentication) and, only if you accept them on the cookie banner, analytics and advertising cookies. You can reject them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit.
- Advertising and audience measurement (with your consent only): if you accept cookies, tags from Google (Analytics, Ads), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), TikTok and Microsoft Clarity may record the pages you visit and key steps such as starting or finishing the test and completing a purchase (amount and an order reference). They never receive your test answers, your scores or your email. We use this to measure and improve our advertising.
- Anonymous identifier: a random ID stored in a cookie to link your test session before you create an account. This ID is not linked to your identity unless you sign in.
3. How We Use Your Information
- Calculate and display your personality test results.
- Generate your premium report when purchased.
- Send transactional emails (account verification, purchase confirmation).
- Send marketing emails only if you explicitly opted in (personality tips, compatibility insights). You can unsubscribe at any time via a one-click link in every email.
- Improve our service through aggregated, anonymized analytics.
- Prevent fraud and abuse.
4. Generated Reports
Premium reports are generated using your five trait percentages (not your individual answers, name, or email). The generated text is stored in our database and served only to you. No personal identifiers are shared with third-party services for report generation.

We do not sell your data to any third party.
6. Data Retention
- Test results: stored indefinitely so you can return to them.
- Account data: stored until you delete your account.
- Marketing preferences: updated immediately when you unsubscribe.
- Analytics data: retained for 12 months, then aggregated or deleted.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your data — available from your account settings (Export Data).
- Delete your account and all associated data — available from account settings.
- Rectify inaccurate data — update your name or email from account settings.
- Withdraw consent for marketing emails at any time via the unsubscribe link.
- Object to analytics tracking by rejecting cookies or using a browser ad blocker.
- Data portability — export your data in JSON format from account settings.

8. Data Security
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We use passwordless authentication (magic links and OAuth), so no passwords are stored. Payment data is handled entirely by Whop.com, which is PCI-DSS compliant. Database access is restricted to authorized services only.
9. International Transfers
Our servers are hosted on Vercel (US/EU regions). If you are located outside these regions, your data may be transferred to and processed in these locations. We rely on standard contractual clauses and service provider commitments to protect transferred data.
10. Children
Persocode is not intended for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
